The pups have gradually started developing their little characters and have mostly managed to get a nickname attributed to them which in some small way describes them.
`Pretty Boy - The explorer` He has the most even of head markings and body markings that you could possible ask for. He was the first to take note of his surroundings; peering over the edge of Mum’s bed after feeds and being the only one to scale the wall of the whelping box at only 16 days he has been dubbed `The Explorer` too. `The Springer` Because he was the squarest heaviest pup from the start and with heavy markings more like a Springer spaniel. `Softie` Because he is the one that wants to stay on suckling Mamma and just seems soft compared to the others. `The Ferret` He looks just like a little ferret nose emerging from beneath Mum’s tail feathers, he comes up for air then ferrets down again between all his brothers and sisters to get just where he wants. `Cutie Pie` She was the first to put her paws up in play, she often lies on her back pawing up at me, and loves a snuggle. `Sweet Pea` She has an expression to melt your heart, she looks quite sad at times - she’s a thinker! `Mole` She so round-like with a shorter very dense black coat, she looks like a little mole, especially before she discovered her legs. |
